Congratulations on the impending birth of your new baby! The processes of conception, pregnancy and childbirth are true miracles and we are so honored and privileged to share in your experience. MJ's are maternity gowns that have all the form and function of the existing hospital gown but with a fashionable flare. MJ's were especially designed to meet the many safety and comfort needs you may face during prenatal visits, labor, delivery and postpartum care. They are specialty gowns that your OB, RN, nurse technician, anesthesiologist, family, friends and most importantly, you, are sure to love!

L&D is a very unique experience and we want you to be comfortable. Seasoned mothers that have gone through labor and delivery will no doubt share with you that they were hot, hot, hot. For this reason, all* MJ's are made from 100% lightweight cotton. We hope that you stay nice and cool.

MJ tops allow for easy access to IV sites, space for epidural placement, the freedom to easily adjust external transducer belts and for breastfeeding. During labor prior to an epidural, MJ shorts will enable you to visit in your room, bounce on the labor ball and walk the hallway without having to put on an additional gown in fear of showing too much skin. Your OB and/or registered nurse will be able to perform vaginal exams while you maintain a little modesty. Peripads may be easily changed before and after you baby delivers and a Foley Catheter fits securely and discretely.

Lastly, in the case that you are partially or completely immobile due to IV medication, infusing epidural or in need of an emergency cesarean section, MJ's snaps off entirely, quickly and effectively, to ensure the safety of you and your baby.
